The Valley
Patriot is a monthly newspaper
published in North Andover
Massachusetts.
The first edtion of The Valley
Patriot was published in March of
2004.
We published 2,000 editions and
distributed to four cities and
towns, (Methuen,
Lawrence, Andover & N.
Andover). We now publish more
than 15,000
papers
each month.
The Valley Patriot is distribute
to: Lawrence, Haverhill, Methuen,
North Andover,
Andover, Lowell, Dracut,
Tewksbury, Acton, Westford,
Billerica, Chelmsford
Georgetown, Boxford, Amesbury,
Newburyport & Groveland,
Massachusetts.

On February 10, 2007, exactly
three years after we began to
layout our first edition,
The New
England Press Association awarded
The Valley Patriot a coveted NEPA
award
for for our coverage of the 2005
flood which included the
revelation that National
Red Cross Officials were throwing
flood vicims from Lawrence and
Methuen out of a shelter set up
at Methuen High School (see story)
The Valley Patriot is printed at
Graphic Development in West
Hanover Massachusetts.
Stop & Shop and CVS locations
are distributed by Distributech
in Woburn, Mass.
FPD
Distributors in
Amesbury Mass. distributes to all
locations except Lawrence,
N. Andover and some Methuen
locations.
The Valley Patriot welcomes
letters to the editor on any
topic. We also welcome
column/article submissions from
elected officials, neighborhood
associations,
community organizers, average
citizens, and newsmakers. Though
we may not
agree with the opinions expressed
in submissions, our mission is to
give
readers the unique opportunity to
receive important information
from those
who are driving important public
issues without the "creative
editing" policy employed
by most newspapers. Submissions
from guest columnists/writers in
The Valley
Patriot are published without the
filtered agenda of an editorial
board. If
