Eases Tomato Fears

announced that all the tomatoes used in
Sals Pizza stores or Salvatores
Restaurants are safe. Tomatoes used
in our products are not from affected
areas of the country and have never been.
The tomatoes in question are not used in
our products and Sals pizza sauce
is cooked to temperatures exceeding 525
degrees Fahrenheit, the Salmonella
Saintpaul bacteria is killed in
temperatures exceeding 145 degrees
Fahrenheit. All tomatoes used on
sandwiches or dishes are tomatoes on the
vine.
Sals Pizza has corporate-owned
properties in New Hampshire and
Massachusetts. The business with over 35
locations has become a large retail
franchise and wholesale operation serving
all of New England with additional
locations in California, Florida and
opening soon in Virginia. Riverwalk
Properties and other properties owned by
Sal Lupoli has over 2 million sq ft and
is one of the largest pieces of
office/retail space in all of New
England.
