Methuen Mayor Bill Manzi's 2nd Annual
Saint Patrick's Day Luncheon
at the Gueshouse Suites - March 9, 2007

We will be playing all the best clips from the luncheonon the
"Paying Attention! Radio Program", Saturday afternoon
on
WCAP/980AM (from Noon to 2pm)

Methuen council president Steve Zanni was called to the microphone to
tell a few jokes but was too "intimidated" by members the Methuen
Police Department standing behind him

Former Mayor Sharon Pollard sent along a
St. Patrick's Day present for Billy Manzi which he
opened before the crowd

Lawrence City Attorney Rick D'Agostino checks out the
March edition of The Valley Patriot while Bob
Larochelle chuckles in the background. After the
luncheon D'Agastino had to return to Lawrence to
change Lenny Degnan's diapers

Methuen Councilor Joe Leone was presented with this
award for his "commitment to conservation"

Methuen Police Chief Joe Solomon and Deputy Chief
Alaimo did not seem very amused by the Irish banter
"I think they all hate arabs" the chief was heard whispering
(before you email me it's only a joke)

Mayor Billy Manzi Displays his THREE chins
after five helpings of corned beef

As usual, whenever someone leaves a microphone
unattended with State Senator Steve Baddour around
well.... you know what happens

State Rep David (WHERE-ISS-HE) Torissi
spared the audience his usual "ditty"
Word has it he was practicing for the Lawrence
luncheon next week.
